This easy origami heart model was shown to me by the late Florence Temko, as such I name it Temko Heart in honor of her life-long contribution to paper arts. This paper heart is easy to make and can be accomplished in less than 5 minutes. It uses one square sheet of paper and requires that you tear the paper a little. No problem! Recall that in the old days, Japanese paper folders embraced the use of small cuts to achieve great results.
Temko Heart Instructions
Start with a square sheet of paper with the white-side up.
Fold and unfold the top half in half again
Tear along the vertical crease from the top-edge
Fold down the 4 corners as shown.
Fold up the bottom corners to make the bottom of the heart.
Turn over and the Temko Heart is done!
