Heart from a Triangle

This triangle heart is, as you might imagine, made from a triangular sheet of paper. It is very easy to make and if you start with a square, you can cut it into two triangles and make two hearts. Double the love!

Instructions for Heart from a Triangle

Step 1:

Start with a square sheet of paper with the white-side up.
Fold and unfold in half along the diagonals as shown.

Step 2:

Cut the paper in half to get two triangles.

Step 3:

Fold the top of the triangle down approx. 1/3 of the way.
It does not need to be exact.

Step 4:

Fold up the two bottom-corners so the edge
of the paper meets in the middle.

Step 5:

Turn the model over.

Step 6:

Fold down the corners of the paper so you get a heart shape.

Step 7:

Fold in the pointy parts of the heart so they become more rounded.

Step 8:

Turn the model over and you’re done.
